Layout Editor at South Side Weekly
For three years, I was a contributing Layout Editor for South Side Weekly. Between February 2019 and February 2022, you can view the finished designs of every issue I worked on at https://issuu.com/southsideweekly. I was responsible for creating layout dummies, working with editors, copy edits, designing every page in InDesign, readying files for print, and submitting them for digital and physical publication. Often each issue (16 to 32 pages) would be created from start to finish in one day, and for larger (think 40 to 100-page issues) under the span of a week. I’m incredibly proud to have contributed my design work to so many issues over the years.
